Mitzvah Food Program

“The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's Mitzvah Food Program is looking for volunteers to pre-pack bags of food, fresh produce, and emergency supplies during the COVID-19 public health crisis at our Northeast Philadelphia food pantry. We serve 1,200 families per month from this location and may be partnering with the SHARE Food Program to transform this pantry to be a SuperSite to distribute food to even more people. Each box of food weighs about 18 pounds. 

 

We will maintain the 6-foot social distancing between everyone (volunteers, staff, clients) and so are implementing volunteer shifts. We can provide gloves if you wish.
