COVID-19 Healthcare Workers Childcare Co-op 

A Philly organization is currently looking for healthcare students to volunteer to care for the children of healthcare workers. Healthcare workers within the Philadelphia area are in need of healthcare students to babysit their children during their medical shifts. They are taking long shifts working tirelessly on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic but due to school and daycare closures have issues finding someone to babysit for their children. Who is eligible to volunteer and provide childcare? 

 

Any student studying and/or planning on going into healthcare. This includes, but not limited to, students studying to become physicians, physician assistants, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, non-medical graduate students, pre-med/pre-health undergraduates and post-baccs, etc.
